Your birthday is kind of your own personal holiday. I just happen to share my holiday with Britney Spears. Not by choice mind you. But holiday or no, after a certain age (mmm, 21) birthdays aren’t that big of a deal. Your capacity for doing shots diminishes by 2 for every year that passes and then, inevitably, as it will do once every 7 years, your birthday falls on a Sunday. But I have to say, this Sunday birthday was the best in recent memory….
Breakfast in bed – waffles, bacon, coffee, Sunday paper
then shopping for 4 hours (as a shopping trip, it was a wash!)
I came home to:
Birthday lunch/dinner – chicken pot pie
Birthday cake – and the best part was I didn’t make any of it!
