Trader Joe’s is really making it feel like summer’s almost here with all these popsicle and ice cream options. From coffee bean Hold the Cones to Ube Ice Cream to Non-Dairy Oat Milk Fudgesicles, you’ve got plenty of choices for your Memorial Day BBQ this weekend. And definitely don’t skip these Tangerine Cream bars that are a heck of a lot like the orange creamsicles we grew up with. Did you ever call them 50-50 bars?
Of course, the day I broke out the box was decidedly un-summery around here. But we never let that stop us in the Pacific Northwest. I liked Trader Joe’s Tangerine Cream Bars. Could I. tell it was tangerine versus orange? Mmm, not really. My adult palate wishes they were a little more tart, but you’ll definitely want to throw a box into your cart on your next TJ’s trip.
I’d love it if these came in the mini size they used for the mango and cream and coffee and cream bars without the sticks in them. Now that would be a win.
