We Tried Trader Joe’s Sugar Plum Sparkling Beverage

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday items are starting to hit Trader Joe’s stores this week. Old favorites are back including almond nog, egg nog, Amarena cherries, and Cocoa Peppermint Almond Creamer. Even advent calendars (dog, cat and human!) are already on shelves. Along with them, we’ve got Trader Joe’s Sugar Plum Sparkling Beverage. If you’ve seen the Nutcracker, you’ve already got Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy playing in your head.

TJ’s Sugar Plum Sparkling Beverage has a mix of plum and white grape juice and comes in with 50% juice (not bad, all things considered). I couldn’t have told you it was plum or grape, it mostly drinks like a fruity juice with a little bit of an acidic edge. Kinda like what you get with some plums.

A good choice if you just want to have a selection of sparkling drinks, I’d definitely try a glass if you had it a family get together. But would I buy it again? Mmm, not sure.

Check out some other recent We Tried’s from Trader Joe’s:

Sparkling Black Tea with Peach

Sparkling Watermelon Juice

Trail Mix Crackers

Murasaki Sweet Potato Chips
