Product Review

We Tried Trader Joe’s Fig & Honey Batard

The first thing to know about Trader Joe’s Fig and Honey Batard is it’s a LIMITED TIME product. So if you think you wanna try it, get it. And if you end up liking it and wanting it for a holiday charcuterie board, don’t dally. Buy an extra and throw it in the freezer.

This is one of those sprinkle with water and crisp it in the oven deals. It’s best same day, but you can always toast any leftovers. It would also be great for a small turkey sandwich. I’ll probably add it to a charcuterie and cheese board. Brie would be great. Blue cheese, if you like it. Cheddar.

Trader Joe’s Fig and Honey Batard is Product of France and has a good long use-by date. I’m not sure how they’re doing it, since there don’t seem to be preservatives on the ingredient list. But there might be something special going on with the bag it comes in. There’s a little green square in the bag behind the label that might be doing something along with the “frosted” bag.

Trader Joe's Fig and Honey Batard Nutrition Facts

What I really love about this batard is it’s bringing 3g of fiber per serving and less than 1 g of added sugar. It’s a buy again for me for sure.
