We Tried Trader Joe’s Enchanted Jangle

I admit it. The only reason I picked up Trader Joe’s Enchanted Jangle was because of the unicorn, rainbow, and pink swirled pink chips. At $4.49 for a 10 oz. bag, it feels a little pricey for what it is, but I couldn’t resist.

Trader Joe's Enchanted Jangle

There are five items in the mix: Salted Waffle Pretzels, Lemon Yogurt Coated Animal Crackers, Strawberry Yogurt Mini Marshmallows sprinkled with rainbow nonpareils, Pink and Orange swirled confectionary chips, and milk chocolate covered pretzel nuggets. For those of you who keep kosher, The bag is marked with the Star-D on the bottom left.

For me, it’s those pretzel nuggets that are the best of the bunch. The lemon on the animal crackers is pretty subtle. You kind of have to think about it to really taste it. But they’re my second favorite. The rest is kind of a wash. The pretzels are just pretzels, the swirled chips and marshmallows are just sweet.

Here’s the breakdown of the bag’s contents (with one of each missing, since I taste tested them). I’m considering making dessert “nachos” with them, but I don’t think there’s quite enough of the confectionary chips to drizzle over the pretzels. But you can see it, right?!

But seriously. TJ’s got me on the unicorn nostalgia, but it wasn’t a magical enough experience to buy Trader Joe’s Enchanted Jangle again. I’d just take a bag of the pretzel nuggets.
