Trader Joe’s Fruity Chewy Candy definitely lives up to its name. It comes in five fruit flavors — cherry, strawberry, lemon, raspberry and orange. And, they are definitely on the firm side of chewy. Stick-to-your-teeth chewy! I think you might want to put them in a hot car for 15-20 minutes to soften them up a little bit.
The flavors are kind of a mixed bag. Overall, the fruit flavors seem stronger than Starbursts. I like the cherry, the raspberry is ok, and the lemon is my least favorite. They’re fine. I don’t know if I’d buy Trader Joe’s Fruity Chewy Candy again, but Starbursts aren’t my go-to candy in the first place.
