When I saw Trader Joe’s Spicy Cheddar Cheese and Jalapeño Biscuit Bites, I assumed they were like mini buttermilk biscuits, but they’re actually biscuits in the British sense. These cheddar biscuit bites are more of a savory shortbread. And they’ll be perfect for holiday entertaining alongside a cheese plate or charcuterie board.
I already had the oven on and preheated, so I opted to bake them for 10 minutes at 350F. If you’re in a rush, you can also airfry them for 3-4 minutes.

Trader Joe’s very often will turn to palm oil in baked goods, but the good news is butter is the first ingredient here. And these buttery little babies are delicious. The jalapeño kick is on the mild side (for me, YMMV) and hits at the end. They come 18 to a box, which seems good for a small get together if you’re serving other crackers and bread. But I could also see picking up a couple boxes in case your guests mow them down (and they just might).

For holiday entertaining, these are a definite buy again.
