Trader Joe’s likes to do flavors in waves. They’ve gone through mango, coffee, and ube as the big ones. Lemon and strawberry get a short run in spring and early summer. Now, Trader Joe’s is fully entering it’s guava (and kinda passion fruit) era.
It’s been gradual. In 2019, they debuted the Guava Passion Fruit Greek Yogurt. Then, Guava Hand Cream turned up, which they’ve had seasonally since 2023. (It usually drops mid-July, so I haven’t seen it this year YET.)

Then TJ’s dropped the Guava Fruit Spread everyone went wild for last year. And it *is* legit good. Worth stocking up on.

But this year, they’ve gone full on with the Sparkling Guava Juice Beverage and Passion Orange Guava beverage.

Then, Guava Nectar showed up in May. We’ve been talking about using it cake (IG/Threads: @weekendreader_ ‘s idea) , but TJ’s hasn’t been stocking their white or yellow cake mix. Maybe they’ll just make a mini sheet cake and save me the trouble!

I rolled through today in search of the Guava Tartelette cookes (aka jam tarts). Review soon. I like that the tartelette part is made with BUTTER.

And I also found Passion Fruit Guava (popsicle) bars in the frozen section. The added sugar content is breaking my heart, since I’m in my heart health, avoid pre-diabetes, save-your-sugar-grams-for- things-you-really-love era. If you don’t have to mind it, please eat all of them for me!

As well as a lip butter duo with Guava Honey and Salted Mango.

If you are a fellow tropical fruit lover, you should definitely check out Trader Joe’s:
