We’ve all been waiting, weighing our advent calendar options, and Trader Joe’s has delivered. Along with the traditional milk chocolate and pet advent calendars, now in stores, Trader Joe’s 12 Days of Beauty 2025 has arrived. It’s $19.99 again and here’s the front of the box. Now, if you don’t want to be spoiled, stop here.

But if you want to see the contents, keep scrolling. Here’s the back of the box with the descriptions/ingredients for each of the items. Ok, you wanna keep going? Don’t say I didn’t warn you. The actual contents are next!

Ta-da! We’ve got a couple returning items, but the rest are brand new. And I think it might be TJ’s best so far. I’m bummed the hair mask didn’t make this year’s cut, it’s been a fave the last two years. And I haven’t found a dupe for either of them.

The returning items are the Rose Glow Facial Oil (2024), the Illuminating Daily Facial Sunscreen (2024) and the Rice Polish Face Cleansing Powder (2023). If you’re interested in past years’ 12 Days of Beauty, they’re linked below:

But let’s get back to this year’s contents:
HAND CREAMS — I’m happy to see two hand creams (one balm, one cream) in Mandarin Basil and Mango Tangerine. The Mandarin Basil was hard to squeeze out of the tube, definitely on the thicker side. I think Mango Tangerine is gonna be my fave between the two.
LIP BALM –– We’ve got a Rainbow Sherbet lip balm. It smells like Sweet Tarts to me. The Pomegranate Berry Lip Butter Balm also has a nice scent.
BODY BUTTER – The Hazelnut body butter has a sweetly nutty scent, though I couldn’t say it was for sure hazelnuts.
BODY SCRUB — Coconut Coffee Body Scrub gives mostly of coconut when you sniff the container. Maybe the coffee comes out when you dig into it.
BATH FIZZER – Lavender Eucalyptus is giving a good balance of both. I can’t wait to use this one in the tub.
BODY MIST – Trader Joe’s hasn’t done a body mist before and this one is Vanilla Orchid. The orchid isn’t too overpowering. Whether your like it or not will probably depend on how it works with your body chemistry.
LEAVE IN CONDITIONER – Vanilla leave in conditioner. It’s vanilla. Not much more to say than that. LOL.
Tons of holiday stuff was in today, so I’ll be wrapping that up in upcoming posts. Stay tuned.
