We just aren&#8217;t getting a lot of the new products that everyone in California has. And between major snow around New Year&#8217;s and pass closures since then, it&#8217;s just been a drag.  Especially when what we did get is Trader Joe&#8217;s Okie Dokie non-dairy dessert. :-\/<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"740\" height=\"987\" src=\"https:\/\/dailywaffle.com\/stage1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/trader-joes-okie-dokie-nondairy-dessert.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"lazyload_inited wp-image-21701\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dailywaffle.com\/stage1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/trader-joes-okie-dokie-nondairy-dessert.jpg 740w, https:\/\/dailywaffle.com\/stage1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/trader-joes-okie-dokie-nondairy-dessert-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/dailywaffle.com\/stage1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/trader-joes-okie-dokie-nondairy-dessert-450x600.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 740px) 100vw, 740px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.412), 18px);px\">Made with oat milk, it features a caramel swirl and sponge candy. But even with the caramel, the only discernible flavor is sweet.  Like a lot of Trader Joe&#8217;s non-dairy frozen desserts, the texture\/mouthfeel is very good.  But the &#8220;ice cream&#8221; part isn&#8217;t vanilla-y or anything, and the caramel swirl is a little sparse. The sponge candy adds some nice crunch, but like I said, the flavor is just sweet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.412), 18px);px\">I&#8217;d pass on this one. I won&#8217;t be buying again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.412), 18px);px\">Items I hope to review sometime soon, if they even show up in my area:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.412), 18px);px\"><strong>Cacio e Pepe Corn and Rice Puffs <\/strong>&#8212; if the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywaffle.com\/stage1\/2020\/09\/10\/we-tried-trader-joes-jalapeno-seasoned-corn-rice-puffs\/\">Jalape\u00f1o Seasoned ones<\/a> are anything to go by, these are gonna be a win. Fingers crossed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.412), 18px);px\"><strong>Chocolate Sea Salt Oatmeal <\/strong>&#8211; Mentioned on a recent episode of the Inside Trader Joe&#8217;s podcast. No idea when it&#8217;s slated to hit shelves<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:clamp(14px, 0.875rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.412), 18px);px\"><strong>Kalua Pork Spring Rolls <\/strong>&#8211; These could go either way and be great or a horror show. I can&#8217;t wait to see which it is.
