So far I’m pretty impressed with Trader Joe’s new fall items. Of course everyone looks forward to the return of their favorites, but I’m most interested in the new-new. The Spicy Pumpkin Curry Simmer Sauce <\/a>was a hit at our house. And Trader Joe’s Spicy Pumpkin Samosas got a thumbs up, too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They’re baked in the oven at 400 for 14-16 minutes, turning them over half way through. I don’t have an air fryer, so I can’t say how they’d do, but I’m assuming just fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We get the chicken version once in awhile and usually eat them without any dipping sauce. But these, stuffed with paneer and pumpkin, seemed like they needed a little something. I tried TJ’s tomato jelly\/spread, not quite right. (I still don’t know what to do with it, other than put it on a cheese board).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So instead, I mixed up a little Greek yogurt, tamarind concentrate, and honey. But I know not everyone has the tamarind around. The truth is, you could just drizzle a little honey over them. It’s pretty good! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spice-wise, Trader Joe’s Spicy Pumpkin Samosas have a nice kick. It’s not too overwhelming, even if you eat the whole box yourself. I managed to leave 3 behind. I’m hoping these will stick around past the fall, but I’m betting they’re gonna be a limited time offer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
