Trader Joe’s just can’t stop with the cauliflower. Joining the cauliflower gnocchi and the cauli pizza crust, TJ’s now stocks Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Thins. Low-carb fans who went through the cloud bread craze will recognize it as similar-ish. It’s shredded cauliflower held together by eggs and parmesan cheese, and formed into a 4-inch round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Intended as a bread substitute, Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Thins are super flexible. So you could easily do a little turkey or ham and cheese between two of them. I went for mini pizzas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It says its 60% cauliflower, but for me it seemed like it was mostly eggs. It tastes like a well done omelette and doesn’t really crisp up, so I sort of ended up folding it over New York-style. I could see using them for mini quesadillas, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re not low-carb, so I usually keep a package of Trader Joe’s frozen naan on hand for emergency pizzas, but these work, too. For my money, you. could also go with Caulipower<\/a> crusts in your freezer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Would I buy them again? Maybe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
