I went to the Farmers Market Saturday knowing fruit and veg intake would be down this week and still came home with a full bag of produce. Take this one for instance &#8212; Giada de Laurentiis&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.com\/food\/recipes\/recipe\/0,1977,FOOD_9936_36999,00.html\">recipe<\/a> for Whole Wheat Linguini with Green Beans, Ricotta and Lemon. I&#8217;m really trying to make just two meals worth (I hesitate to say servings) &#8212; one for tonight and maybe leftovers for lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, I discovered the lovely hand-dipped ricotta I bought at Whole Foods had gone off before I had a chance to make this. Did I mention Giada&#8217;s recipe was part of a show on &#8220;Bikini Dinners?&#8221; Um, ok. Anyway, ricotta-less, I subbed in cubes of fresh mozzarella (bought at my new favorite store &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.groceryoutlets.com\">Grocery Outlet<\/a> &#8211; it&#8217;s a long story and a whole other post). I roasted the cherry tomatoes yesterday and topped the thing with a chiffonade of basil and a good sprinkle of romano cheese. Molto bene!
