We Tried Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Yellow Mini Sheet Cake
with Chocolate Frosting! I've been on alert for Trader Joe's Yellow Mini Sheet Cake with chocolate frosting after seeing u/aswewaltz posted it in NY on Reddit 8 days ago. We Tried Trader Joe’s Teriyaki Mushroom Mini Bao Buns
I was skeptical when I saw that Trader Joe's newest dumpling was teriyaki-flavored. Teriyaki in a bao? I imagined a gloopy super sweet soy-based sauce overwhelming the veg filling. But now that I've tried Trader Joe's Teriyaki Mushroom Mini Bao Buns? I think it's meant to be more of a shorthand toward a sweet,…

We Tried Trader Joe’s Salted Caramel Hold the Dairy Cones

I was a big fan of Trader Joe’s original non-dairy Hold the Cones in Chocolate, so I had high hopes for this salted caramel follow up. Now, I know a lot of people are sick of salted caramel, but when it’s done right, it’s still one of my faves. Trader Joe’s Salted Caramel Hold the Dairy Cones are on the more subtle side of Salted Caramel and didn’t actually seem salted to me at all.

The ice cream is rice beverage based, so it seems more like ice milk than ice cream, but no complaints. Not everything needs to be super rich, super premium. It’s a good flavor alternative for non-dairy eaters, though I think chocolate is still my fave between the two. One thing the non-dairy cones have on the standard dairy version is the chocolate nub in the bottom of the cone. And it shows up here, too. Makes for a great last bite.

I laughed when I saw the nutrition facts considered 6 cones as one serving. I typically will eat two, makes for nice portion control. So you’re looking at 2.83 grams of fat and 60 calories per cone.
