You’ll probably end up grabbing a bag of Trader Joe’s Taralli and Friends crackers to put alongside your charcuterie and cheese boards this holiday season. It’ll be a good match, these crackers are savory, a little crumbly and on the sandy side. But be warned, if you just grab a few from the bag, they get kind of gummy & dry out your mouth?! Maybe it’s just me. From what I can tell the “friends” are the same flavor as the taralli, just a different shape.
Choose your bag wisely. As you can see below, you might end up with a lot of crumbs. This is actually less crumby than some of the bags I saw!
I didn’t grab these Entertaining Crackers. Mostly because the wafer ones, while they are indeed wafer thin, also usually have a styrofoam-like consistency to me. Not my jam. But I bet the flax seed, cheese and onion would be great with a schmear of cream cheese and and some lox.
