One of the things I’m treating myself to this year is advent calendars. And while we wait for my local Trader Joe’s to get more new holiday stuff, let’s take a look inside Trader Joe’s 12 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar. They’ve mixed up the contents since last year’s edition. SPOILERS AHEAD. Scroll down to see the contents.
As someone who loved the Winter Citrus hand cream a couple of years ago, I’m thrilled to see there’s a Grapefruit hand cream. And there are TWO body butters we haven’t seen before – Toasted Marshmallow and Frosted Cranberry. Toasted Marshmallow smells like cream cheese frosting to me.
The rest of the box is: Enrich Moisturizing Face Lotion, Vitamin C serum, Chai Shimmer Body Wash, Winter Citrus 3-in-1 Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash; Berry Lip Mask, Kombucha Black Tea Cleansing Oil, an Exfoliating Sugar Cube, Charcoal Face Mask, and a Hair Mask. The Hair Mask does NOT appear to be the same as the Shea Butter and Coconut Mask that comes in the full size bottle.
I’m reserving judgment about the 3-in-1, but I’ll probably use it as body wash because the conditioning action is never enough for long hair.
