But lately she’s been flubbing her teleprompter reads and her bosses are bringing in younger, less experienced talent and sidelining her with second- and third-tier sports. Eventually she goes to see optometrist Dr. Gideon Miles for help.

It’s a bit of a slow burn. Tanika’s busy job includes shadowing F1 driver Colin Bello for a story – and it takes her out of Atlanta pretty often (don’t worry, we get to go along). For his part, Gideon’s dealing with lingering grief over the death of his wife, but he’s trying (he’s really trying!) to get out there again. If you’ve watched Alex Cross on Prime, it’s like that. But this is a romance, so love finds a way!
