I’ll Be Your Huckleberry

In the last few weeks huckleberries have been popping up on menus everywhere I look…we had the wild huckleberry bread pudding at Coco500 (with caramel sauce – to die for!), the pear baba at Village Pub also had huckleberries and the tart tatin at Piacere in San Carlos was garnished with 2-3 huckleberries. I’m not sure where they’re coming from, but sometimes a taste of summer is just what you need in the middle of February.
