We Tried Trader Joe’s Gluten Free Yellow Mini Sheet Cake
with Chocolate Frosting! I've been on alert for Trader Joe's Yellow Mini Sheet Cake with chocolate frosting after seeing u/aswewaltz posted it in NY on Reddit 8 days ago. Every trip, I was disappointed. But today...finally... TJ's in the PNW have been blessed with the new gluten free sheet cake. So let's cut into it!…
We Tried Trader Joe’s Teriyaki Mushroom Mini Bao Buns
I was skeptical when I saw that Trader Joe's newest dumpling was teriyaki-flavored. Teriyaki in a bao? I imagined a gloopy super sweet soy-based sauce overwhelming the veg filling. But now that I've tried Trader Joe's Teriyaki Mushroom Mini Bao Buns? I think it's meant to be more of a shorthand toward a sweet,…

Dating Dr. Dil by Nisha Sharma Is a 5-Star Must Read | Book Review

Dating Dr. Dil by Nisha Sharma was a DailyWaffle Most Anticipated Romance for 2022. And you know how that goes, a book will either exceed your expectations or go down in flames. I’m happy to say, I loved Dating Dr. Dil so much that I haven’t been able to shut up about it since I finished it in January. And I’m thrilled there are more books coming.

I absolutely adored this enemies-to-lovers/ fake dating story between a lawyer looking for a love match and a cardiologist who doesn’t believe in love.

This Taming of the Shrew-inspired book is funny, sexy, and smart…with banter for days, great friend groups, Bollywood-worthy moments, and everything a steamy rom-com fan could want! Steam level is on par with A Lot Like Adios by Alexis Daria.

I loved Rina’s complicated family, her meddling aunties, and her commitment to her end goal. I loved the wink and a nod Sharma gives to other South Asian romance authors. I loved the glimpses into the shifting generational attitudes around arranged marriage in the South Asian community. And I loved watching Prem fall for Rina in spite of himself.

A must read.
