6 New Items to Be on the Lookout for at Trader Joe’s

In the latest episode of its Inside Trader Joe’s podcast, the company previewed six new products to be on the lookout for over the next few months.

Bomba – Fermented Calabrian peppers somewhere between a tapenade and a sauce. Italian chiles chopped up, mixed with a little basil and a little salt, resulting in a spicy condiment. TJ’s suggests it as a pasta topping or on grilled flatbread. I’m definitely putting this one on pizza.

Organic Beary Tiny Gummies — Itty bitty gummy bears from France, naturally colored using fruits and vegetables. 

Coffee Lovers Espresso Beans – 3 flavors: mocha, latte and espresso, they come in a 2.5 oz bag. I’ve already seen these popping up on Instagram, so they may already be in your local store.

Creamy Pink Primavera Pasta Sauce – Tomato is first ingredient, beets are the second. I’ve also already seen this one in stores. It’s a very bright shade of pink – you can’t miss it.

Strawberry Rose Fruit Spread – from a maker in Belgium.  It’s a limited buy product, so once the lot TJ’s has is gone, it’s gone.

Crepe Wafer Cookies – Light, crispy cookies from France. Described as being like the cookies you’ll often get on ice cream in Paris. I’m imagining it as a little triangle cookie, if it’s anything like the ones we used to get at a gelato shop when I was a kid!
