2007 – Ringing in the New Year

New Year’s Eve is always hit and miss for us – and it’s not even because Ryan Seacrest seems to be Dick Clark’s heir apparent on New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. OJ and I – we’re well past the “Let’s spend $150 a person for a prix fixe dinner w/ cheap champagne we don’t want anyway” stage, but it’s still fun to do *something.* I mean, you have to do *something*, right?

So in the spirit of it being the last hurrah for 2006 – Erin and Frank, Jack and Debbie, and OJ and me partied it up at Chez Jenkins. I overdid it on the food, but it was fun.

Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Flatbread with Carmelized Onions and Blue Cheese
Various cheeses and crackers
Veg crudite with roasted red pepper/sun dried tomato dip
Chips and salsa
