With Spring arriving on March 20 and Easter hitting on the early side this year (March 31), it’s time to start looking at your Trader Joe’s Easter basket options. Let’s take a look.

Chocolate Truffle Easter Eggs are new for 2025 with 6 flavors to a box: Dark Praline, Crispy Milk, Milk Praline, Milk Coconut, Dark Pistachio, Dark Cookies & Creme, and White Praline.

If you wanna stay with the egg form factor, but you need more than just 6. Trader Joe’s Italian Chocolate Eggs offers a different set of flavors: Coffee, Dark, Milk and Hazelnut. Coffee is a milk chocolate egg with white chocolate and coffee filling. Dark is Dark Chocolate with dark chocolate filling. Milk is milk chocolate with milk chocolate filling. And Hazelnut is milk chocolate with milk chocolate and hazelnut filling.
If your Easter basket just isn’t an Easter basket without a bunny, TJ’s has two options for you. First, a Milk Chocolate Bunny Bar topped with mini milk chocolate gems, caramel bits, rainbow nonpareils, and a white chocolate drizzle.

Or, you can go with the old school fave, the hollow bunny. TJ’s version, the Break Apart Bunny, is filled with gummy carrots. I bashed one open, so you can see what you’re getting in the video below. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a hollow bunny, but I’d say the milk chocolate here is better than average, but nothing amazing. [Edited to add: the carrot gummies are lemon/citrus flavored and they’re not as hard as they sounded, but definitely firmer, more like a gum drop, than TJ’s other bagged gummy candies.]
And of course some standard TJ’s faves are back this year: TJ’s (might be Jelly Belly) Gourmet Jelly Beans.

Candy Coated Dark Chocolate Almonds: for those of us who want Easter Candy while also saying, but I’m having almonds, they’re good for me!

And a favorite from last Spring that first turned up in Springle Jangle: the Cheery Lemon Animal Crackers. No sign of Springle Jangle or Enchanted Jangle yet, my local TJs both still have Jingle Jangle kicking around. Yes, still.

Check out some other Spring favorites that’ll hopefully be back soon:
Lemon Mini Sheet Cake (already back for 2025)
