PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The KNOCKOUT book giveaway (”Sweepstakes”) begins on April 10, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. PT and ends on April 15, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. PT (the “Promotion Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: To enter the Contest, you must be a lawful citizen or permanent resident of the United States, and eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time entry (each an “Entrant”). Contest is void outside of the United States and in any states and/or territories, provinces, possessions, and commonwealths where restricted or prohibited by law or where registration, bonding, local judging or translation is required. Employees, officers, directors, resellers, agents, affiliates and representatives of Sponsor and other participating partners, including their affiliated companies, parents, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, “Released Parties”), and their immediate families and members of their households are ineligible to participate in this Contest. The Contest is subject to all national, state and local laws. The eligibility of Entrants shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
HOW TO ENTER: Enter the Sweepstakes during the Promotion Period online by following @dailywafflebooks on Tiktok and commenting with the last 5 star romance you read.
Automated or robotic Entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Internet entry must be made by the Entrant. Any attempt by Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All Entries must be posted by the end of the Promotion Period in order to participate. Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.
PRIZES: There will be one (1) grand prize winner (“Grand Prize Winner”).
Grand Prize Winner will receive one paperback of How to End a Love Story by Yulin Kuang. (“Grand Prize”). The total approximate retail value of Grand Prize is $18.99 USD.
Prizes are subject to change based on Sponsor’s sole discretion.
WINNER SELECTION: The Winner of the Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received throughout the Promotion Period. The random drawing will be conducted on or about September 5, 2023 after the Promotion Period by Sponsor or its designated representatives, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible Entries received.
NOTIFICATION: Winner will be announced on or about April 15, 2023. Winner will be posted on notified on the giveaway entry post. Entrants may be contacted by Sponsor by email and/or other means in connection with the Contest. Any notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If a winner fails to return the required documentation by the specified deadline, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner determined by Sponsor. Acceptance of any prize constitutes permission to use the winner’s entries and his/her name, personal information and likenesses without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.
ODDS: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period and the quality of the entries submitted.
GENERAL RULES: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by the equipment, platform, or software associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of entries in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or any website, including without limitation, Sponsor’s website; violates these Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and/or civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person and Entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other problems beyond the control of Sponsor, and, at its option, award the prize from among all eligible entries received prior to cancellation.

PRIVACY: Any personal information supplied by you will be subject to the privacy policy of the Sponsor posted at https://dailywaffle.com/privacy-policy. By entering the Sweepstakes, you grant Sponsor permission to share your email address and any other personally identifiable information with the other Sweepstakes Entities for the purpose of administration and prize fulfillment, including use in a publicly available Winners list.
CHOICE OF LAW; VENUE: This Contest and the rights and obligations of Sponsor and participants will be governed by and controlled by the laws of the State of Washington, applicable to contracts made and performed therein without reference to the applicable choice of law provisions. Any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Contest, or any benefits received, or the administration of the Contest not resolved through internal adjudication shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration, to take place in the State of Washington pursuant to the Rules of the American Arbitration Association, then effective, (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the Contest and in no event shall Entrant by entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs; and (3) under no circumstances will a participant be permitted to obtain awards for and participants hereby waive all right to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
WINNER’S LIST: The name of the winner will be posted on the giveaway post and Dailywaffle’s Instagram stories for a period of time beginning on or about April 15, 2024 after the end of the Contest Period.
