By no means exhaustive, this list is a portion of what I’m personally tracking for the year, with more to come. The list is on Bookshop.org as well and I’ll update there as new titles are added over the course of the year.
I’m happy to say we’ve got more Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander stories coming in 2026 than we’ve had before. And more own voices Japanese American representation, too, in contemporary YA, mystery, and historical fiction. I’ve gotten my hands on a few ARCs, so reviews to come, but the vast majority feature the synopses provided by the publishers.
