Trader Joe’s made us wait until after the Labor Day holiday (again!) this year to unleash Pumpkinpalooza. But the first round of fall items — pumpkin, maple, apple, etc. are hitting stores now. Let’s take a look at what we spotted in the PNW. We went grid style today because there are more than 20 items. All items listed in the captions.
Of course Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese will be the superstar of today’s haul for a lot of people. But for me, I’m eyeing that Pumpkin Spice Snickerdoodle Cookie Mix. The Pumpkin Loaf from the bakery section looks promising, too, if you don’t want to bake your own.
I’m not a huge pumpkin person as I’ve said in years past. So one of the highlights for me is the white stilton with apple and pear. Sounds like a great choice for a cheese board.
Holiday bakers will want to check out the Almond Paste and the Alcohol Free Vanilla Flavoring. TJ’s also had vanilla beans (not just the paste), 2 to a package (not pictured).
Flavored coffee fans looking to get their fix will want to check out the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Concentrate and the returning Autumn Maple Coffee.
No sign yet of Pumpkin Samosas or the mini Pumpkin Ginger Scones I loved last year. But we’ll be keeping an eye out. They’re a couple of my faves of the Pumpkin season. For a look at previous years’ Pumpkinpaloozas at Trader Joe’s:
