Here’s a look at what’s new (and returning) at Trader Joe’s this week, as spotted in the Pacific Northwest. Of course, the magenta and teal mini insulated bags restocked this week, but I’d bet money they made it through Wednesday and that was it. Let’s get to it.
NEW: MANGO STICKY RICE CRISPS
Of course, another Trader Joe’s item with palm oil. Sigh.
NEW: YUZU MISO
Calling Yuzu Miso a topping or spread is bound to be confusing. But essentially it’s a miso-based sauce/dressing with yuzu. Wondering what to do with it? I got ya covered.
NEW: ITALIAN WHOLE PEELED TOMATOES WITH BASIL LEAF
$2.99 is the best price I’ve seen on a 28 oz. can of Italian Whole Tomatoes with Basil Leaf in ages. Worth stocking up.
NEW: DARK CHOCOLATE DIPPED FRENCH BUTTER COOKIES
I was so tempted. But you know I’m trying to cut back on added sugars. So tempted.
NEW: CRUNCHY JICAMA SLAW
Not to be confused with the Mango Lime Jicama Slaw. This one’s got a Sesame Ginger dressing. But I’m questioning how crunchy it actually is, based on how it looks in the container.
NEW: TROPICAL BAHIA BRAZIL COFFEE
Another small lot coffee. Medium roast. This time from Brazil.
NEW: TRADER JOE’S CRISPY CRUNCHY COATED PEANUTS
They’re reportedly similar to the ones that come in Japanese rice cracker snack mix. It always feels like there’s not enough of ’em in the senbei mix, but I don’t know if I want a whole bag of them.
RETURNING
RETURNING: TRADER JOE’S STRACCIATELLA BURRATA FILLING
For the stracciatella fans, it made a comeback in the PNW this week, after being gone for a bit.
RETURNING: LARGE ELBOW MACARONI
I’m as excited as I was the first time this dropped a few weeks back. For the large elbow macaroni fans, it’s back with Trader Joe’s-branded packaging.
RETURNING: S’MORES ICE CREAM
It’s baaaaaaaaaaack! Grab a box of graham crackers and make yourself a little ice cream sandwich.
