Is it gonna be Christmas in July? On the latest episode of its Inside Trader Joe’s podcast, the company spotlighted 14 new Trader Joe’s summer items to be on the lookout for, plus a handful of returning favorites.
Some items have already starting hitting shelves (and social media), but there’s lots to look forward to, including:
Cold Brew Barbecue Sauce – if you love TJ’s coffee barbecue rub, definitely check this one out.
Tri-Tip Kebabs –– Marinated in a tamarind-based sauce, two kebabs, ~1 lb per package!
Thai Coconut Curry Spice Chicken – Chicken thighs in a red curry coconut marinade
Strawberry and Jalapeño Crisps – Reviews on Reddit say they’re pretty spicy.
Hatch Chile Cheddar Seasoned Popcorn – I’m betting it’ll be on the mild side. But can you go wrong with chiles and cheese?
Garlic Bread Cheese – A squeaky Finnish cheese not unlike halloumi in texture. It’s bread cheese, not garlic bread – cheese) designed to be pan fried or air fried.
Brazil Nut Body Butter – TJ’s version of Brazillian Bum Bum Butter, this one is already making the rounds on social media and getting a thumbs up for it’s similarity to the original, but at a way more affordable price point.
Carolina Gold Barbecue Ridge Cut Kettle Chips – Look for them toward the end of July.
Sparkling Watermelon Lemonade Water — Not to be confused with the Sparkling Watermelon Juice, it’s not totally clear if these come in bottles or cans. TJ’s references the blueberry lemonade water, so probably cans?
Other new items include: Calrose Rice, Fruity Gummy Candies and Deli-Style Corned Beef Flavored Dog Treats. We’ve already spotted these in stores.
