With a reduced set of categories in this year’s awards, Trader Joe’s unveiled winners of its 12th Annual Customer Choice Awards. Old favorites and Trader Joe’s classics dominated this year’s winners, with perennial favorites Mandarin Orange Chicken and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter cups taking top honors. But there are a few surprises, too.
In the FAVORITE BEVERAGE category:
Sparkling Black Tea with Peach Juice. I’m surprised to see this one take it! I really liked it as a lighter version of Snapple peach tea, but I know others weren’t so keen.
FAVORITE CHEESE: Unexpected Cheddar. I expected the new grated version to win it, but the block seems to be the favorite.
FAVORITE SNACK: Salted Peanut Butter Filled Pretzel Nuggets. I can’t believe I’m going to say this…I’ve never bought or eaten these.
FAVORITE PRODUCE: Teeny Tiny Avocados
FAVORITE HOME, BATH AND BEAUTY: Scented candles. From grapefruit to lemon cookie to peony blossom, ya’ll can’t get enough candles.
FAVORITE VEGAN/ VEGETARIAN: Soy chorizo. I thought for sure the Cauliflower Thins or Cauli Gnocchi would take this category for sure.
