Whoa, Joe! It looks like Trader Joe’s has been saving the best for last this summer, with its new Neapolitan Joe-Joe Ice Cream ($2.99). We were fans of the cookies when they came out last year, we even thought the Neapolitan Puffs cereal was pretty ok, but this ice cream? Trader Joe’s has outdone itself.
Let’s crack the carton and get a look at that top view. Trader Joe’s Neapolitan Joe-Joe Ice Cream features a mix of vanilla and strawberry ice cream with cookie pieces and a fudge ribbon.
They’ve struck the right ratio of cookie pieces and the strawberry ice cream is front and center. To the point it reminded me how much I like a good strawberry ice cream on its own!
Come on, you know you want a scoop of that!
I don’t have the sweet tooth I used to, so for me, this is a one scoop ice cream. I mean, I’ll have no problem finishing off this pint, but it won’t be in one sitting. It’s pretty sweet. Word from my local store is that Neapolitan Joe-Joe’s ice cream will be featured in the next Fearless Flyer coming on or around August 12. So if it isn’t in your freezer section yet, it will be soon. You don’t want to miss this one. Grab a box of waffle cones while you’re at it.
