Remember how amazed I was about the Oat Milk Strawberry Ice Cream Trader Joe’s came out with last year? So unbelievably creamy for a vegan ice cream! Well, I’ll just break it to you now, Trader Joe’s Cold Brew and Boba Ice Cream (ok, it’s non-dairy) isn’t as creamy. But! I still really liked it.
I’d call it medium on coffee flavor, very smooth, no bitter edge, since it’s cold brew. Boba is good, chewy. Could there be more? Maybe. I’ve only had one scoop so far, so the jury’s still out. I’ve seen another poster on reddit whose carton didn’t have good boba distribution throughout, but that’s probably just a production quirk.
Would I buy Trader Joe’s Cold Brew and Boba ice cream again? Definitely.
I’d love more flavors, too.
