Trader Joe’s Is Bringing in 84 New Products For the 2019 Holiday Season

Can you guess how many products Trader Joe’s is bringing in this holiday season? In 2018, there were 472. According to the latest episode of its Inside Trader Joe’s podcast, 400 products earned the right to return this season and they’ve added another 84. Yes, 484 Trader Joe’s holiday items.

In the last couple of weeks, the holiday onslaught has gotten rolling and it seems new items are hitting shelves every couple of days. Extra popular items like the dog and cat advent calendars sold out in just a couple of days.

Yesterday, I stopped in my TJ’s and the health and beauty aisle was freshly stocked with seasonal body butters, hand creams, face masks, and body scrubs, along with recycled paper baskets and the colorful felted wool trivets and garland. Perfect for stocking stuffers!

Among the new Trader Joe’s holiday items teased on the latest Inside Trader Joe’s are:

ORNAMENT COOKIE KIT – An alternative to its Gingerbread House kit, the ornament cookie kit comes

HOLLOW CHOCOLATE CHRISTMAS TREE – Comes with an icing kit and chocolate gems to “glue” onto the tree.

HOT COCOA CREAM LIQUEUR (in stores that sell spirits) – A companion to the egg nog liqueur, this one is a cocoa-based, slightly boozy sipper for the adults.

HOT COCOA SNOWMAN – This snowman goes into a hot mug of milk and unleashes marshmallows as he melts. I can’t wait. (“I’m Melting, I’m Melting”).

HOLD THE CORN APPETIZERS – Savory rice flour cones are filled with a mix of corn, waterchess nuts, green onions, woodear mushrooms seasoned with lemongrass, garlic, cilantro and chile powder.
