Is anyone ever really ready for summer to be over? Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer is nearly here, but the thing is, as long as the weather holds out, why let the party end? Some of the Pacific Northwest’s best wines, ciders and beers will be on offer with tastes from artisans and vendors including Bliss Nut Butters, Guittard, the Oregon Cheese Guild, Red Duck Foods, Talenti gelato, and USA Pears.
Friday’s Grand Tasting Culinary Stage schedule includes a chef panel with Portland’s Vitaly Paley and Seattle’s Tom Douglas, as well as Chef Naomi Pomeroy in conversation with Bon Appetit’s Adam Rapaport. Pomeroy’s book, Taste and Technique, is due out September 13.
